Skills Required:
- Proven success in telephone sales within the Electrical Wholesale sector or a related trade industry
- Strong English and Mathematics skills with excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
- A proactive, target-driven approach with the confidence to build lasting customer relationships
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced sales environment and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while re-engaging dormant accounts to drive sales growth and improve margin performance
- Promote the company’s full range of products and services to both existing and prospective customers
- Build relationships with customers across Facilities Management, retail, commercial businesses, and contractor markets throughout Southend and the surrounding areas
- Work closely with the Branch Manager and wider sales team to produce accurate and timely customer quotations
- Manage and grow a loyal customer base by delivering exceptional service and encouraging repeat business
- Provide support to the busy trade counter, assisting customers professionally in a face-to-face environment
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements to offer tailored product solutions and maximise sales opportunities
