Role Overview: We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth across electrical wholesale partners in London and the South East.
This field-based role focuses on increasing product awareness, developing strong distributor relationships, securing new stock opportunities, and identifying growth opportunities through contractors, installers, and local projects.
Areas Covered: London & South East including Norfolk, East Sussex, Essex, Kent, Oxfordshire & Surrey

- Circa £40,000 Basic Salary (negotiable depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Development
- Develop relationships with electrical wholesalers at branch, regional, and group level
- Increase product visibility and secure new stocking opportunities
- Grow territory sales, market share, and deliver sales/margin targets
- Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts
Branch Engagement
- Visit electrical wholesale branches regularly across the territory
- Build relationships with branch managers, buyers, trade counter staff, and sales teams
- Deliver product training and support branch promotions and product launches
- Drive product awareness campaigns across distributor networks
Contractor & Project Development
- Work with wholesalers to identify contractors, installers, and panel builders
- Support project identification and specification opportunities
- Develop joint business opportunities to generate long-term revenue growth
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain CRM records, pipeline management, and sales forecasts
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments
- Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and marketing teams
