What you’ll be doing 
This role is designed to give you a solid foundation in customer service, sales, and operations while providing excellent long-term career prospects within a fast-paced and rewarding industry. 
Your apprenticeship will begin with delivery duties, driving a 3.5-tonne Mercedes Sprinter van, allowing you to build strong relationships with customers, gain valuable product knowledge, and develop a thorough understanding of the business and the Electrical Wholesale sector.

As your confidence and experience grow, you will progress through different areas of the business, taking on increased responsibility and developing the skills needed for a successful career. 
During your apprenticeship, you will: 
  • Gain hands-on experience across the business, starting in the warehouse where you will learn products, stock control, and operations before progressing to the Trade Counter and Telephone Sales. 
  • Develop outstanding customer service and sales skills by supporting trade customers both face-to-face and over the phone. 
  • Build strong product knowledge and commercial awareness within the Electrical Wholesale industry. 
  • Receive regular performance reviews, structured product training, and ongoing skills development throughout your apprenticeship. 
  • Benefit from one-to-one mentoring and coaching from an experienced manager, helping you achieve your full potential and prepare for future career progression. 
 
What we are looking for 
We’re looking for candidates with personal drive, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
This role would ideally suit a school/college leaver with an interest in sales & customer service. If you can combine these skills with an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) the Electrical Wholesale industry and a desire to deliver excellent services for clients, we’d like to hear from you. 
**The candidate must live local, hold a full UK driving licence and be able to commute within 20 minutes

A level two apprenticeship gives you a qualification equivalent to GCSEs, along with work-based qualifications like a level 2 competence qualification, functional skills (English, maths, and IT), and a knowledge-based qualification 
It provides a foundation for career progression and is a pathway to further apprenticeships or employment.  
 
What you gain  
  • Vocational Qualification: You will achieve a work-based learning qualification at level 2.  
  • Functional Skills: You will likely need to complete functional skills qualifications in English and maths, and potentially IT, particularly if you don't already have equivalent GCSEs.  
  • Equivalent to GCSEs: The overall qualification is equivalent to five GCSEs at grades 9-4 or A*-C.  
  • Career Start: It's designed for people with little to no experience, allowing them to enter a specific industry and build a foundation for their career.
