Telephone Sales Executive

Location: Braintree, Essex

Hours: 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Salary & Benefits:
  • £30,000 to £35,000 negotiable, depending on experience
  • Excellent contributory pension scheme
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Person:
  • Experience in telephone sales, ideally within Electrical Wholesale or a similar trade industry
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage your own workload
  • Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A sense of humour and a genuine passion for achieving results

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture relationships with a diverse customer base, providing outstanding service
  • Handle customer enquiries, quotations, and orders accurately and efficiently
  • Develop strategies to grow existing accounts and generate new business opportunities
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, liaising across teams when needed
  • Attend sales and management meetings, contributing insights and strategies
  • Assist in implementing proactive order-winning strategies
  • Promote a wide range of products, encourage repeat business, and maintain customer loyalty
