Salary & Benefits:  
  • £33,000 to £35,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

Location: Hastings, East Sussex 
Hours: 7:00am to 5:00pm OR 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday & 8:00am to 11:30pm Saturday Rota (1-in-4) paid overtime

They are looking for an energetic branch assistant to join their team in Hastings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to progress within the business and to be a part of their continued success. 

Key Responsibilities: 
 
  • Answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls 
  • Processing telephone orders and quotations  
  • Warehouse duties 
  • Delivering goods to customers 
  • General administration duties 
  • Serving customers over a busy trade counter as and when required  
  • Dealing with and resolving any customer queries 
  • Building, maintaining and enhancing excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business 

Do you have:  
 
  • You must have a proven track record of working in sales within either the electrical, building or plumbing trade industry with good electrical product knowledge 
  • Confident driving a 3.5tonne long wheel based sprinter van 
  • Dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success 
  • You must be confident, reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a “can do” attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment  
  • A motivational and dynamic person with attention to detail and pride in their work 
  • A positive and hardworking attitude 
  • Quick learner
