Due to the continued success and expansion of the business, they now have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Drop Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their busy Distribution Centre in Exeter.

Role:
This is primarily a multi-drop delivery driving role, with approximately 80% of your time spent making customer deliveries across Exeter and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for delivering customer orders safely, efficiently and professionally, representing the company positively when dealing with customers.
The remaining 20% of the role will involve supporting the warehouse team, including loading and unloading your vehicle, picking and packing orders, goods in/out and general warehouse duties.
You will be driving a Luton van or long-wheel-based Sprinter van, so previous commercial multi-drop delivery experience is essential.
Person:
You will be a reliable, punctual and professional driver with a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills. You will take pride in your driving, vehicle and appearance, be confident dealing with customers and enjoy working independently while also being a supportive member of a small team.
You will be physically fit and comfortable with loading and unloading goods, as well as helping with general warehouse duties when required.

- Making multi-drop customer deliveries throughout Exeter and the surrounding areas
- Driving a Luton van or long-wheel-based Sprinter van safely and responsibly
- Planning delivery routes and ensuring orders are delivered on time
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle safely
- Checking customer orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy
- Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, tidy and well maintained
- Reporting any vehicle issues, delivery problems or customer queries promptly
- Supporting the warehouse team with picking and packing orders
- Goods in/out and general warehouse duties
Skills Required:
- Previous commercial multi-drop delivery experience is essential
- Experience driving a 3.5-tonne long-wheel-based vehicle or Luton van
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Good geographical knowledge of Exeter and the surrounding areas
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, reliable and punctual approach
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable loading and unloading goods
- Positive, hardworking and flexible attitude
- Willingness to support the wider warehouse operation when required
