Due to both significant recent growth and its future growth plan the business is looking to recruit a first-class executive PA to the three directors. This is a new role, and this person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s board and office is firstly organised but secondly will undertake key functional tasks to help the company achieve its growth aims.

This is a key role in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly, priorities stay on track, and the office and business is set up for continued success. A certain strength of character is required as well as an approachable and friendly manner.
You'll provide a high level of administrative and organisational support — from diary coordination and task prioritisation, to preparing documents, maintaining personnel files and some accounting-based work to support the Data team. You'll also act as a gatekeeper, spotting gaps and inefficiencies before they become problems, and getting involved as the representative of the Board in wider operational activity where needed.
This role suits someone who thrives in a structured, busy and varied environment — a confident multitasker who is calm under pressure, personable, and unflappable when handling director-level workloads. Above all, discretion and professionalism are absolutely critical — you’ll be trusted with highly sensitive information and expected to always act with complete confidentiality.

Person & Skills Required:
- Circa £40,000 per annum (FTE pay basis from the Office)
- Office based but company can be flexible on both days and hours worked, in terms of a reduction to the FTE if mutually agreed with pro-rata adjustment in salary scale.
- 22 days holiday (FTE) plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Organise the day-to-day operation of the Office – being responsible for the environment’s function and handle with any issues that may arise
- The company plans to move office soon and you will have key involvement to this move and the general smooth delivery of it
- Provide direct administrative and organisational support to the three Directors, but mainly for the CEO with both work and personal matter co-ordinations needed
- Manage a busy and dynamic diary set, prioritising tasks, following up with directors and scheduling and co-ordinating with accuracy
- Prepare documents, files, reports, and presentations ahead of key meetings or activities
- Take meeting minutes and update action lists where needed
- Be involved in the Inductions of new joiners and maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files for all staff
- Manage Directors’ email stacks and react and manage where necessary
- Support the company’s Data Manager with data input and document filing, being around sales, purchases and banking.
- Coordinate and prepare for key events including:
- Manager meetings
- Training Events
- Lender events and Networking hospitality functions
- Company Webinars
- Organise venues, catering, accommodation, attendee lists and follow-ups for events and meetings
- Act as a gatekeeper — ensuring information is complete, accurate, and delivered efficiently
- Identify and close gaps in processes or communication
- Handle confidential data, personnel matters, and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
- Support wider operational or project-based tasks across the business as needed
- Provide flexible support around critical periods of the year (e.g., forecasting, year-end, mid-term reviews)
- Liaise with colleagues at all levels, ensuring smooth information flow to and from the directors
- General filing and company call requirements where necessary
Person & Skills Required:
- Ideally located in the Hemel Hempstead area or within 30 min commute
- Previous experience in a PA, EA, or senior administrative role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Planner)
- Experience with office moves would be beneficial
- An interest and some experience in accounting record keeping and bookkeeping would be beneficial
