Van Driver/Warehouse Person – Electrical Wholesale

Salary & Benefits: £22,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on experience plus contributory pension scheme & profit sharing scheme
Hours: 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00am to 5:00pm Friday
Location: Basingstoke
 
Company Description: A well established Nationwide Electrical Distributor looking to expand their centre in Basingstoke. The business provides a wide range of products to customers, from their trade counter and by daily delivery service.

Role: This will be a varied and exciting role which will include serving existing and new clients on their trade counter, delivery driving and warehouse duties

**Experience working in the Electrical Wholesale sector is preferred but not essential**
**Driving License essential**
 
Person: You must be reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a “can do” attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Delivery driving
  • General warehouse duties
  • Picking/Packing orders
  • Processing orders and quotations
  • Building, developing and managing relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Ensuring all records, systems and paperwork are kept up-to-date
 
Skills Required:
 
  • Good standard of English & Mathematics
  • Electrical Wholesale experience
  • Warehouse experience
  • Trade Counter experience
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail & super organised
  • A positive and hardworking attitude
  • Able to work well in a small team
