Electrician/Trainee Electrical Supervisor
Salary & Benefits: £35,000 per annum increasing to £40,000 per annum upon successful qualification to Supervisor + 29 days paid annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays) + company van + fuel card + iPhone
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm + paid out of hours on call rota (1 in 3 weekends).
Location: Central & South Midlands (Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire)

Role & Responsibilities:
- This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious & enthusiastic qualified electrician to join a dynamic and growing company with offices based in Northamptonshire
- The role offers in-house and external training providing the opportunity to progress to Electrical Supervisor.
- This position is for a driven electrician who is seeking a career path and is keen to focus on their professional development and expand their skillset within a team environment
- The role is primarily site based, with home and office working from time to time
- The on-the-job training program (approx.. 18 months) will begin on a practical level, working within each practical aspect of the business including new build installs, remedial work in occupied homes, fault finding, testing, door entry systems, EV charging units, security alarms, compound set ups
- With a solid understanding and competency demonstrated within each practical area, training will incorporate supervisory elements of the role and you will begin to support in carrying out duties such as site inspections, project compliance checks, compiling safety certificates, ordering of materials, managing labour, delivering Tool Box Talks, liaising with clients, pricing jobs and projects auditing project documentation and more
- This training will be incorporated into your daily practical work offering the opportunity to obtain a diverse skill set and enabling you to become proficiently multi skilled
- Once you have completed the training and demonstrated understanding & competency, the successful candidate will complete the SSSTS (Site Supervisory Safety Training Scheme) qualification and achieve their ECS black managers card
- To succeed in the role, you will need a positive, professional and versatile attitude at all times in a constantly changing and continuously improving environment

Required Qualifications:
- Hold a valid ECS Gold Card: Installation Electrician or above
- City & Guilds 2392 Inspection & Testing
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671
- Full Clean Driving Licence
