Telephone Sales/Trade Counter Person

Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 negotiable, depending on experience
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday & every 3rd Saturday (8:00am to 12:00pm)

A well established Independent Electrical Wholesale Distribution Company looking for an exceptional all-round telephone sales and trade counter person to join their team in Reading. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of their continued success.
 
**Experience working in the Electrical Wholesale sector is preferred but not essential**
 
Person:
 
  • You must be confident, reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a “can do” attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment
  • You must have a proven track record of working in sales within either the electrical, building or plumbing industry, be dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
  • Ability to self-manage with a high level of self-motivation and drive
  • A motivational and dynamic person with attention to detail and pride in their work
  • A positive and hardworking attitude
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to work well in a small team
  • Flexible and adaptive personality
  • Driving license is essential
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Building, maintaining and enhancing excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Serving customers over a busy trade counter
  • Processing orders and quotations
  • Trade Counter merchandising
  • Dealing with and resolving any customer queries
  • Delivering to customers as and when required
  • General warehouse duties
