Trade Counter/ Branch Assistant
 
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 negotiable, depending on experience plus excellent bonus
Location: Southampton
Hours: 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday & 8:30am to 12:00pm alternate Saturdays (paid overtime)

A well established Independent Electrical Wholesale Distribution Company looking for an exceptional all-round trade counter and branch assistant to join their expanding team in Southampton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of their continued success.
 
**Experience working in the Electrical Wholesale, plumbing or building TRADE sector is essential**

  • You must be confident, reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a “can do” attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment
  • You must have a proven track record of working in trade counter sales within either the electrical, building or plumbing industry, be dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
  • Full UK driving licence is essential

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Building, maintaining and enhancing excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Serving customers over a busy trade counter
  • Processing orders and quotations
  • Trade Counter merchandising
  • Dealing with and resolving any customer queries
  • Delivering to customers as and when required
  • General warehouse duties
