Trade Counter Sales Person

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 per year plus Profit Related Bonus & Pension Scheme.
Hours: 7:45am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:15pm Monday to Friday
Location: East London

  • To provide an unrivalled service in all areas of the Trade Counter, where the focus is Customer First
  • Building, developing and managing relationships with customers, suppliers and other employee
Person:
  • English and Maths to good secondary level standard CSE, GSE/GSE or equivalent
  • Previous sales/customer service experience essential
  • Lift and/or electrical industry sales/customer service experience desirable
  • Ability to self-manage, with high level of self-motivation
  • Teamwork
  • Pride in your work
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reactively handling trade counter enquiries
  • Processing orders using the company system
  • Maintaining a good level of product knowledge
  • Preparing new displays for the trade counter with offers and new products
  • Contributing to the effective operation of the business through active participation in activities such as local promotions
  • Picking goods
