Trade Counter & Warehouse Assistant
 
Salary & Benefits: £22,000 to £25,000 per annum negotiable, depending on experience plus contributory pension scheme & profit-sharing scheme & 25 days holiday
Hours: 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday & 7:30 to 5:00pm Friday
Location: Andover, Hampshire
 
Company Description: A dynamic and fast paced Nationwide Electrical Distributor who are constantly evolving and growing are looking for an ambitious and motivated Trade Counter & Warehouse person to join their team in Andover.

Role: This will be a varied and exciting role which will include general telephone sales duties and serving existing and new clients on their busy trade counter.
 
Person:
  • You must be reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • A team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment
  • Experience working in the Electrical, Building or Plumbing Trade sector is essential
  • Driving license is essential
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serving customers on the busy trade counter, managing customer enquiries and orders
  • Building, developing and managing relationships with customers
  • Re-stocking shelves and keeping the trade counter tidy, organising promotions and special offers
  • Picking/Packing orders
  • Warehouse management and occasional deliveries
