Specification & Distribution Manager

Salary & Benefits:
Hours & Holidays: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. 30 days holiday per year including bank holidays and set Christmas break. Increased holidays dependent on length of service
Area Covered: Central UK (Wales/West Midlands/North Yorkshire/Norfolk/Oxfordshire)
Main Duties (Reporting to the General Manager):

- £40,000-£45,000 negotiable, depending on experience

Main Duties (Reporting to the General Manager):
- Source and get the product range specified onto projects and supply via wholesalers and distributors.
- Support and develop existing and new Electrical Wholesalers and Distributors, you will target both Commercial & Residential projects dealing with Architects, Interior Designers and Commercial Developers for an unrivalled range of energy saving time switches, occupancy presence and absence controls for both commercial and residential projects. You will likely mix your time between working from home and out visiting clients in and around the chosen area
- To utilise search tools such as Barbour ABI and Glenigan for contractor leads and construction site information
- To improve the company’s general market place position across all product groups within the electrical and construction sector
- Ensure all leads are identified and full business potential realised
- Work closely with the sales teams to maximise opportunities for all areas of the business and to resolve any issues that may arise
- Training distributors on all products and present solutions to their sales teams
- Be active on LinkedIn promoting to your customer base the company products
- Be part of a successful and highly motivated team with a clear goal of growth YoY
- Specification experience and ability to converse with electrical contractors and installers
- Experience dealing with Electrical Wholesalers and Distributors
- Barbour ABI or Glenigan construction lead experience beneficial
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
