Site Installation Fitter
 
Salary & Package: £10 to £14 per hour, depending on experience plus company van (after 3months probation), fuel card, expenses card & 20 days holiday
Hours: 39 hours per week (overtime of up to 65 hours available)
Location: Person to be based in Herts, Bucks or Beds. This role will be covering the UK
Company Description: Market leaders of optimal disposal solutions for a variety of applications inclusive of Recycling, Refuse, Linen and Clinical waste
Job Description:
The role will work as part of a dedicated team travelling throughout the UK undertaking the installation of disposal solutions and associated equipment. The role will be based from the Dunstable depot but works will be undertaken throughout the UK as required.
 
 
Skills Required:
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence
  • Trade Qualifications (CSCS, PASMA, HARNESS TRAINING)
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety legislation and how to work safely on site
  • Experience in installing disposal solutions an advantage but in-house training will be provided
  • General DIY & Power Tool skills
  • Experience in fitting duct work sections and ventilation
  • An enthusiastic, proactive and organised individual with good use of initiative
  • The ability to communicate effectively to clients, colleagues and site agents
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of disposal products & associated equipment
  • Monitoring the quality of your work to minimize error, customer dissatisfaction and any potential hazards
  • To ensure paperwork is completed correctly
  • To transport equipment safely and competently, with due regard to legal requirements and limits at all times
  • To complete basic maintenance and safety checks on your vehicle at regular intervals and ensure the inside and outside of the vehicle is kept clean
  • To maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers and represent the company in a professional manner
