Sales Order Administrator

Salary & Benefits: £21,000 to £24,000, depending on experience per annum plus profit sharing scheme and contributory pension scheme & genuine career opportunities
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Twickenham
 
Company Description: A Large Nationwide Electrical Distributor where hard work and commitment are recognised and rewarded. The company is looking for an ambitious individual who can take advantage of the opportunities within the business to forge a successful career.
 
Role: This will be a varied and exciting role which will include assisting the internal and external sales team and colleagues with office duties and all administration within the branch.
Experience working in a busy sales department would be an advantage.
Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
 
Person: You must be reliable and punctual, be flexible, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a good attention to detail whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with incoming calls on a daily basis, helping customers with pricing and availability of stock
  • Keying in orders accurately
  • Assisting the internal and external sales teams with enquiries
  • Keeping Excel records up to date
 
Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Telephone sales experience
  • Good typing speed and accuracy
  • High standard of English & Mathematics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail & super organised
  • A positive and hardworking attitude
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Flexible and adaptive personality
