Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

A well established Nationwide Electrical Distributor looking to expand their centre in Hayes. The business provides a wide range of products to customers, from their busy trade counter and by daily delivery service.

You must have a proven track record of working in customer service, cold calling experience, be dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively making outgoing telephone calls to prospective customers
- Aggressively targeting new and dormant accounts to improve sales and margin performance along with actively promoting the company and their products and services
- Proactively seeking new business opportunities with new customers in the Facilities Management, retail, large and small contractors and commercial businesses in the London and surrounding areas
- Developing strategies for increasing existing, new business and dormant accounts
- Working closely with the sales team, producing timely and accurate customer quotations
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage and quickly build rapport
- Excellent planning and research ability
- Resilience
- Good standard of English & Maths
- Full driving license as travelling will be required
- Previous experience in a proactive telesales role
- Computer literate and the ability to use Microsoft Office
- An interest in the Electrical Wholesale industry and experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
