Office Administrator/Buying Assistant

Salary: £20,000 per annum plus bonus scheme & contributory pension scheme
Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Location: Chessington

Person: We are looking for an energetic team player with excellent attention to detail, who enjoys working to strict deadlines and managing multiple tasks whilst at the same time building quality relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
You must be reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a good attention to detail whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • To undertake any tasks as reasonably requested by the Purchasing Manager, General manager or Managing Director
  • Receipting of goods
  • Customer back order reports
  • Chasing suppliers for delivery dates and ensuring that these are met
  • Chasing order confirmations and therefore reducing invoice queries
  • System updates, such as pricing and supplier delivery dates
  • Filing of both Purchase orders and customer orders
 
 
Skills Required:
  • Business administration experience
  • High standard of English & Mathematics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
  • Attention to detail & super organised
  • A positive and hardworking attitude
  • Able to work well in a small team
  • Flexible and adaptive personality
