Commercial & Industrial Lighting Designer 

Salary: Circa £25,000 depending on experience plus Profit Share
Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm
Location: Northampton 
 
We are looking for a Lighting Designer to join our team of bright professionals in our UK head office in Northampton to assist on all aspects of lighting projects, from concept development to detailed lighting specifications on Industrial and Commercial applications.
Working mainly with the lighting design team, architects and electrical distributors and supporting other team members, this is an exciting opportunity to join the success of this market leading pioneer in the LED lighting industry.

What you’ll be doing
  • Delivering effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients in the UK
  • Working alongside experts in the industrial and commercial sector on a wide range of National projects
  • Hands-on lighting design for a range of projects
  • Providing lighting calculations
  • Preparing renderings, drawings, and specification
  • Attending design team meetings
 
What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates with personal drive, creative design flair and technical know-how. This role would ideally suit someone with a Light & Lighting MSc and qualification, and experience in the design of industrial & commercial projects.

  • Relux Software experience
  • The ability to understand CAD plans
  • Experience in a similar role
