Internal Sales/Branch Assistant
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 Negotiable, depending on experience plus profit share, pension & 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday & 8:00am to 12:00pm Saturday Rota (paid overtime)

- You must be confident, reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a “can do” attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment
- You must have a proven track record of working in trade counter or telephone sales within either the electrical, building or plumbing industry, be dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- A motivational and dynamic person with attention to detail and pride in their work
- A positive and hardworking attitude
- Quick learner
- Ability to work well in a small team
- Flexible and adaptive personality
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing strategies for increasing existing, new business and dormant accounts
- Identification and development of new business opportunities from both existing and new customers
- Building, maintaining and enhancing excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Serving customers over a busy trade counter as and when required
- Processing orders and quotations
- Trade Counter merchandising
- Dealing with and resolving any customer queries
- Delivering to customers as and when required
- General warehouse duties
- Telephones Sales duties
