Company Description: A large, well-established independently owned Electrical Wholesale Distributor based in South-East London are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to add to their team. You should only apply for this role if you are confident that you have the talent and ambition to develop into more senior roles within the business within two years.

Role: Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be at the forefront of representing the business, implementing sales and margin growth strategy for both current and new Trade Customer accounts through our branches in the South-East.
 
Person:
 
  • Must have a proven track record working within the electrical wholesale market
  • Must have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Will have some experience of supervising / managerial skills
  • Will be able to work effectively within a team and build good working relationships
  • Will have a good sense of humour and a passion for excellent customer service
  • Will be ambitious with a desire to progress to more senior positions
 
Duties: Your duties will include the following:
  • Maximising existing sales growth and margin
  • Generating new business through new and existing customers
  • Working closely with the Sales Director to deliver large contracts
  • Providing product advice and building good relationships with customers
  • Working closely with all colleagues to deliver consistently high levels of service
