Area Account Manager-South East England

Area to be covered: South East England (Suffolk/Oxfordshire/Berkshire/Kent/Hertfordshire)
Reports to: UK Sales Manager

To grow the designated area with additional profitable business by achieving sales of the company’s wide range of quality industrial electrical components and EV charging products to Electrical Distributors Electrical Contractors, End Users and Local Authorities, either independent to the electrical distributor or as a combined joint activity

Job Description:
- Maintain contact with the UK Sales Manager to provide regular market reports and sales forecasts
- Provide regular feedback on competitor pricing and current pricing offers in your local market
- Increase turnover in line with the company goals within the designated sales area
- Develop profitable business with current and new customers by building strong relationships and increasing the products sold
- Generate business for the distributors in the area through sell-out activity with contractors, local councils and other third parties
- Develop strong relationships with your key distributors and work very closely with them to increase turnover
- To provide technical support on products as and when required
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar position is essential
- Ideally located within area to be covered
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Professional appearance with strong presentation skills
- Relevant Industry, market and product knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non- technical clients
- Full clean driving licence
- Flexibility and a great team player
